What it is
KSM-66® is the most studied branded ashwagandha extract on the market, standardised to 5% withanolides. Two capsules give you 600 mg, which is in line with the doses used in the research.
Ashwagandha is a botanical, and botanicals sit in a regulatory holding pattern in the UK — their health claims have never been formally authorised. So I can’t tell you what it does, and anyone who does is on the wrong side of the rules.
What I’ll say is this: it’s one of the most popular supplements among my clients dealing with heavy training blocks and busy jobs, and at £8 for a month’s supply it’s an inexpensive thing to trial for yourself.
How to use it
Take 1 capsule twice a day with a meal, with plenty of water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
