Beta-alanine tablets — 3.2 g per four-tablet serving, with sodium citrate, histidine and vitamin B6.
What it is
Beta-alanine in tablet form, at 800 mg each. Four tablets give 3.2 g of beta-alanine, plus 200 mg of L-histidine and 1.4 mg of vitamin B6.
Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Beta-alanine itself has no authorised claim, so I’ll stick to the practical detail: it works cumulatively rather than acutely, so you take it every day and the effect builds over about four weeks — it isn’t a pre-workout you feel on the day. And it will make your skin tingle. That’s paraesthesia, it’s harmless, and it wears off.
How to use it
Take 3–4 tablets daily with a meal or before training, with plenty of water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
