Marine collagen with VERISOL® — 5 g of fish collagen peptides plus vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and biotin.
What it is
A marine collagen powder built on VERISOL® hydrolysed collagen peptides, at 5 g per serving, with 120 mg of vitamin C, 30 mg of hyaluronic acid and 2500 µg of biotin.
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, bones and cartilage, and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and hair.
Straight talk: those benefits come from the vitamin C and biotin, which have authorised claims behind them. The collagen peptides and hyaluronic acid do not — the evidence isn’t there yet in regulatory terms, whatever the marketing elsewhere tells you. Plenty of people take it and rate it. I’d rather you bought it knowing exactly what’s proven and what isn’t.
How to use it
Dissolve one serving (1 scoop, 6 g) in 150–200 ml of warm water, stir and leave for a few minutes until fully dissolved. Do not exceed 1 serving per day. Not suitable if you are allergic to fish.
