SFD Nutrition Electrolytes
Electrolyte powder — 40 servings in a 200 g tub, orange flavour. Mixes into water.
What it is
Electrolytes as a powder rather than a capsule, which is the format you want if you’re actually losing fluid — you’re replacing the water at the same time as the minerals.
A 5 g scoop mixes into 150–200 ml of water. 200 g gives you 40 servings, so at £10 that’s 25p a drink — considerably cheaper per serving than the capsules and a lot cheaper than a bottled sports drink.
Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and to the normal functioning of the nervous system. Calcium contributes to normal muscle function and to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Worth having in the bag for hot weather, long sessions, or the day after a heavy night. Note this one is SFD-branded rather than ALLNUTRITION — same group, same factory.
How to use it
Dissolve one serving (5 g, 1 scoop) in 150–200 ml of water, stir and drink straight after mixing. Do not exceed 1 serving per day.
